A mere four blocks from the White House is the Jefferson Hotel, a stretch of 99 super elegant suites that has recently won some seriously impressive awards and notable mentions. Among them, the hotel has been named a Forbes Four-Star Hotel and voted one of Travel and Leisure Magazine‘s “Top 10 Small City Hotels in the U.S./Canada.” The property was re-done inside out in October of 2009, helping to keep the history of the structure while introducing some modern perks like a “do not disturb” button instead of the classic paper door hanger.
They also updated some classic amenities – like room service and a spa – to give their guests the “royal treatment,” version 2.0.
