Makeup artist Erwin Gomez brings new beauty salon to the West End.

It’s an announcement worthy of a (well-manicured) eyebrow raise. Make-up artist and self-proclaimed “eyebrow guru” Erwin Gomez is bringing his prestige along with his tweezers to the West End neighborhood later this spring, when his newest venture, “KARMA Beauty Lounge by Erwin Gomez,” is set to make its debut. Staffed with a team of “expert artists” trained in the arts of hair, waxing, spa, makeup, and eyebrow services, the 4,000-square-foot location hopes to provide “an experiential journey every time [a guest] has an appointment,” proclaims the brow & beauty master himself. Coinciding with the salon’s opening, Gomez will also launch his own line of cosmetics, the aptly titled “Erwin Gomez Cosmetics.” With a WELLA Professional’s “Trend Vision Award” under his belt, and a client roster that reads like the table of contents in People Magazine (Jennifer Garner, Rosario Dawson, Stevie Wonder, Eva Longoria, Judy Reyes, and the Bush twins, to name a few), Gomez is poised to up the level of pulchritude on 24th street – one pluck at a time.
