Sport a leather jacket instead for an edge of downtown cool. In a pinch, drape yourself in faux fur.
2. Step away from black and jump into color.
Pair a tuxedo jacket with sleek pants and a neon, four-colored pocket square.
3. Aren’t you bored with the basic L.B.D.? Try a white tux for women paired with a colored or very subtle animal-print shoe. A simple white shirt tied at the waist with an out-of-this-world skirt can turn heads; just make certain the fit is correct.
