Italian stylist brings international chic to new Georgetown Salon.
Craving shorter locks? Need to touch up your roots? Have a formal event coming up? Washington has a fresh new destination for all its hair needs – the newly opened Luigi Parasmo Salon on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown.
The storefront may be new, but Luigi Parasmo, the styling guru behind the endeavor, is no newcomer to the salon scene. Parasmo studied at beauty school in Rome and has styled models for Versace, Armani and Valentino shows in Milan. Parasmo is also a fixture in Washington’s beauty scene as a familiar face at the Watergate salon for 17 years.
Parasmo celebrated his eponymous space with a VIP opening, which included friends such as plastic surgeon Dr. Ayman Hakki, ABC 7‘s Alison Starling and her fiance Peter Alexander of NBC News sipping on Belvedere Lemon Tea cocktails and nibbling appetizers from nearby Neyla restaurant.
Now that the ribbon cutting is over, let the hair cutting begin!
