Today is the official start of the Olympic games!  Last week, we looked at how 2012 is gearing up to be the year of  “Social Olympics” and in keeping with that theme, Washington Life rounded up some of our favorite tweets and articles for insights into Olympic diets, British etiquette, and how athletes are faster today than in 1896.  Be sure to check out the official Olympic twitter feed, as well as the Olympic Athlete’s Hub to follow your favorite athletes.  Let the games begin!
