Gearing up for Restaurant Week with a flashback to the RAMMYs.
As Washington foodies get ready to dive into that week-long smorgasbord known as Restaurant Week (August 13-19), we thought it would be fun to highlight some particularly exuberant moments from this summer’s RAMMY Awards.
Pictured above, April Fulton, host of NPR’s “The Salt,” trips the lights fantastic with PR pro Anthony Hesselius, looking dashing in a silver ensemble.
Big winners included restaurants Rasika, Fiola, Black Salt Restaurant Group, Bourbon Steak and Adour, among others. If you haven’t tried any of these (what are you waiting for??), Restaurant Week offers you a chance to (finally) do so.
More than 235 restaurants are participating this year, offering up their specialties at an affordable fixed price of just $20.12 at lunch and $35.12 at dinner, excluding beverages, tax and tip. For the full list of participating restaurants and to reserve, click here.
