Book Talk: The Devil’s Chessboard

David Talbot delivers some uncomfortable historical analysis on the infamous Dulles brothers.

When Salon.com founder David Talbot’s book, “The Devil’s Chessboard,” came out in October 2015, it was met with silence by the establishment media, as it is highly critical of the New York Times and the Washington Post, among others. As Talbot explains to journalist Robert Scheer, “There’s an official history and then there’s real history, and whenever real history raises its snout, it tends to get slapped down by the media gatekeepers.” The book is certainly explosive, linking former CIA Director Allen Dulles to the assassination of President Kennedy and uncovering the secret history of U.S. led regime change under the Dulles brothers.
