Today, Hermès launches its Hermèsmatic Pop-Up Dip Dye Store at CityCenterDC as part of a nationwide campaign by the French brand. Loyal Hermès customers are invited to give their already-purchased and worn silk scarves a makeover using a complimentary dip-dye coloring technique; customers are also encouraged to purchase silk from the dip-dye collection and/or purchase a Hermès vintage silk scarf to dip-dye. Each guest has the option to choose from one of the following dip-dye colors: denim blue, fuchsia pink and jungle green.

This pop-up concept stems from the brand’s aspirations to recreate, transform and “breathe new life” into both old and new silk scarves. Hermès’s silk scarf collection continues to be greatly inspired by French tradition, its cultural heritage and equestrian prints since the mid 1900s. As of now, Hermès has over 2,000 designs in more than 75,000 colors created for both men and women, and the company continually impresses customers with its strength in craftsmanship of hand-rolled and hand-stitched silk scarves as well as its strong emphasis on product quality.
