75 million in honor of her late husband Otto.
Although this was the Ruesch Family Foundation’s largest single gift to date, Jeanne Ruesch is also active in other philanthropic areas. As an example, she funded the Christophe Ruesch Research Center at Medstar National Rehabilitation Network.
As chairman of the National Symphony Orchestra, she headed the search for a new musical director that picked Gianandrea Noseda. She is also a supporter of the Arts for the Aging program and is listed as a “donor” by Catholic Charities.
