The Helen Hayes Awards recently held a Show Tunes & Cocktails event on December 14, 2010. Show tunes and holiday classics were sung, filling the Quill Bar at The Jefferson for an entertaining evening where guests enjoyed food and cocktails, including the specialty drink of the night, a Helen-tini, named after the namesake of the Helen Hayes Awards. Bandleader and Helen Hayes Board Member, Glenn Pearson provided the musical guidance for theatre community guests including actors Will Gartshore and Kate Debelack as well as NBC4’s Barbara Harrison and WTOP’s Man About Town Bob Madigan.
