Washington Life Tech 25 & Innovators Party

Celebrating changemakers in the nation’s capital.

A Washington Life magazine cover featuring Tom Davidson, Marla Beck and Mark Ein greets party-goers.

Washington Life magazine marked the release of its Innovators & Disruptors and Tech 25 issue with a soiree at One Hill South luxury apartments near Nationals Park. Guests floated through the sleek party space, nibbled on small bites and sipped on specialty cranberry cocktails created by party sponsor Salesforce as DJ Farrah Flosscett played tunes.

Executive editor led a toast to the honorees in attendance, including Bluemercury co-founder Marla Beck (who appeared on the cover alongside fellow Innovators of the Year Mark Ein and Tom Davidson). Publisher Soroush Shehabi thanked all of the event’s generous sponsors, including Salesforce, Whittle School & Studios and real estate developer Related.

Spotted: MPAA Chairman Charles Rivkin and Susan Tolson, Amazon Web Services Vice President Teresa Carlson, Halycon CEO Kate Goodall, Haddad Media founder Tammy Haddad and Chef Kwame Onwuachi.
