PRESIDENTIAL PORTRAIT: Excitement was in the air at the National Portrait Gallery as Shepard Fairey’s iconic HOPE portrait of Obama was officially made part of the museum’s collection. The work, generously donated by Heather and Tony Podesta in memory of his mother, Mary K. Podesta, was unveiled by the artist himself, National Portrait Gallery Director Martin Sullivan, members of the Congressional Black Caucus and the Podestas.
