Founded in 1997, The National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts works tirelessly to increase the visibility and presence of Latinos in the entertainment, media, and telecommunications arenas. The foundation has concentrated on promoting and expanding career opportunities for Hispanic artists and professionals while fostering the emergence of new Hispanic talent. To date, the foundation has awarded $900,000 in graduate scholarships to Latino students attending prominent colleges and universities.
