Please join DC School Reform Now and Democrats for Education Reform as we present “The Critical Need for School Reform and How to Achieve It.
” In this presentation in the tradition of “An Inconvenient Truth,” noted education reformer and DFER co-founder Whitney Tilson will discuss the history of school reform in the United States and why as a nation and as a city we must urgently support the best practices we know work in closing the achievement gap. In addition to national data, DC School Reform Now will be presenting and releasing a report on the achievement gap in DC.
Confirmed attendees include a broad spectrum of business and civic leaders.
As concerned citizens, we must demand equal access to a quality education as a civil right for all.
