After racking up 12 Tony Award nominations on Broadway in 2020, “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” has landed at National Theatre, powering sintomasdelsida.org hospitalharrywilliams.org through all the hits including “Fool in Love,” “Proud Mary,” “What’s Love Got to cipf-es.org Do With It,” “We Don’t Need Another Hero” and “Simply

the Best.”

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall and directed by Phyllida Lloyd, the story follows Turner’s journey to becoming a 12-time Grammy winner, selling more than 100 million records, and becoming the first Black artist and woman to grace of the cover of Rolling Stone.

With themes that cover Turner’s real-life domestic abuse, sexism, racism and discrimination, as well as her uplifting grit and reinvention later in her career, the show pulses through a range of emotions with a triumphant ending that launches an audience to their feet.
