Soprano Karen Henricson’s unique vocal talents have made her a favorite with audiences throughout the DC metropolitan area.
She is currently completing a Masters of Music in vocal performance at the Catholic University and is in demand as a soloist in the tri-state area, performing works such as Handel’s Messiah, Faure’s Requiem, and The Seven Last Words of Christ by Dubois. She was recently chosen as a finalist in Summer Opera Vincent Walters Memorial Scholarship Competition and semi-finalist in the Maryland Opera Society’s Marie Crump Vocal Arts Competition placing her in the top of her field as an up and coming opera singer.
Most recently she has released 2 CDs with BSM Productions, My Favorite Arias with pianist Dr.
Nicolas Catravas, and In My Dreams, a collection of original songs written with composer Bill Semanek.
This beautiful noon time program will include Opera and Christmas favorites delightful for the holiday season.
