If you love cold brews and haute eats, then SAVOR is for you. The event celebrates craft beers, fine dining and unique culinary collaborations.
This year, cheftestant Bryan Voltaggio is teaming up with Flying Dog Brewery’s brewmaster Matt Brophy to present an educational salon. The instructional will include tips and techniques for cooking with beer and the art of turning brewskis into finger food.
The duo will also be working together to create a craft beer to serve at Volt. “Unlike wine, I’ve found that in brewing beer, we can be very specific to developing a flavor profile that pairs perfectly with the intended foods and/or be used in a recipe to enhance the flavor of a dish,” says Voltaggio.
“There seems to be little to no limitations to get the creativity flowing.”
SAVOR is June 3-4 at the National Building Museum from 7:30 – 11 p.m. General admission tickets are $110 and tickets for individual salons are $30 each.
