Modern decor CB2 store makes Georgetown location its first home in the district.
By Melissa Henderson
Get ready for affordable modernism. Celebrated for its modern home furnishing, CB2 is set to make Georgetown its first home in the District. In keeping with the brand’s sleek and clean design aesthetic, its 12,815 square foot space, located on 3307 M street, will have exposed concrete floors and ceilings complimenting tile doors.
Our sources tell us that CB2 is planning a huge opening weekend in Spring 2011 filled with great specials and events.
Stay tuned – we’ll be keeping you posted on that as details come out.
So, what will be inside the store?
CB2 will open with its Spring 2011 collection and its brand staple pieces for apartments, lofts, home and office. The modern decor for minimalism enthusiasts promises to offer quality pieces at affordable prices, including the Lotus Armless Chair, which features a frame made of FSC – certified wood and metal.
For those that like guilt-free shopping – several of the designs feature and benefit a long-standing partnership with the non-profit Creativity Explored, which is a visual arts center where artists with developmental disabilities create, exhibit, and sell art.
