The James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour makes a stop at The Source.

One of the many memorable dishes served at the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour stop in Baltimore last year.

The hottest show rolling into town this summer isn’t Britney Spears at the Verizon Center or Bon Iver at the 9:30 Club. That honor goes to a busload of celebrity chefs. The James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour is making a stop at The Source by Wolfgang Puck, where it will showcase the talents of the area’s top toques. Restaurant Eve’s Cathal Armstrong, The Inn at Little Washington’s Patrick O’Connell, Volt’s Bryan Voltaggio, The Source by Wolfgang Puck’s own Scott Drewno, BLT Steak’s Victor Albisu, Birch & Barley’s Tiffany MacIsaac and the Dolcezza team will each tackle a course to create a one-of-a-kind, six-course dinner.

Before this fantastic feast, guests will be treated to awe-inspiring appetizers from Graffiato’s Mike Isabella, Bourbon Steak’s Adam Sobel and Proof/Estadio’s Haidar Karoum, as well as cocktails from Adam Bernbach, Derek Brown, Todd Thrasher and Chantal Tseng. Think of this as the culinary equivalent of Woodstock, Pink Floyd at Pompeii, the Beatles at Shea Stadium and Lollapalooza all rolled into one.

The event takes place on Tuesday, August 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $200 per person, not including tax and gratuity. For reservations, please contact Derek Friday at 202-637-6106 or derek.friday@wolfgangpuck.com.
