Charity ping-pong tournament raises money for Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.

Get out your paddle and put your game face on. The Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts are hosting their first annual charity ping-pong tournament on Sunday, August 28 from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Comet Ping Pong. Compete for hundreds of dollars in gift certificates to the eatery in a 32-player singles tourney.
Even if you don’t want to get your pong on, there will be plenty to do.
Attendees will be able to bid on prizes such as dinner for two with the chef at Westend Bistro, an autographed baseball from the Nationals’ Tyler Clippard, Capitals sports memorabilia, gift certificates to Mr. Yogato and much, much more.
Tickets are $20 each and you can buy them online now. Any tournament slots not sold in advance will be available at the door. Questions can be directed to Indira at pingpongforWALA@gmail.com.
