After tasting success at its first venture, the owners of The Mighty Pint have expanded their empire right around the corner with the opening Irish Whiskey Public House – a modern twist on a classic Celtic pub. Don’t let the pub moniker fool you – this is more in-line with sophisticated Dublin than quaint Ring of Kerry roadside inn. Although the custom interiors by Maggie O’Neill of O’Neill Studios – the creative force behind the ingenious decor of Lincoln Restaurant – are an homage to the rustic charm of Irish pubs, the cocktails and food are anything but stuffy and old-fashioned.

Executive Chef Sean McIntosh has created an innovative menu with dishes such as Corned Beer and Cabbage Spring Rolls with a Mustard Creme Fraiche Sauce, Beef and Guinness Shepherd’s Pie and Pan Seared Filet Mignon with Irish Cheddar Potato & Jameson Irish Whiskey Cream Sauce.

The property is split into three levels each with distinct menu and vibe. The ground floor is where live musicians hold court, the second floor plays host to a lively bar and the third floor Dublin room is set-up as lounge.

And yes, there is Whiskey – the pub has an extensive list of over 50 brands of Irish Whiskey as well as a members-only whiskey club. There are also over 80 beer selections.
