Chef Michel Richard expands the breakfast offerings at his Tysons Corner restaurant.
By Nevin Martell
Nutritionists constantly emphasize that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it makes sense to choose your morning menu carefully. At Michel that’s an easy task, since the A.M. offerings recently expanded to include even more Michel Richard creations.
For a sweet start, order the crème brulée French toast.
This decadent marriage of breakfast classics pumps up buttery brioche with vanilla bean filling, then crowns it with a pile of fresh berries and a snowfall of powdered sugar. A savory option is the quiche, which dotted with broccoli florets and smoothed out with goat cheese before being plated with a mound of golden home fries and a fresh fruit salad.
Of course, Richard had to include his take on the Croque Monsieur and the Croque Madame, the latter coming with a pair of sunny side eggs.
With options this good, who would want to skip the most important meal of the day?
