Although we haven’t seen the temperatures to prove it quite yet, spring is just around the corner, which means one thing: spring and summer fashion collections will be gracing store windows all around town. The European-esque, cool guy brand, GANT, welcomed VIP guests to their M St.
storefront, which opened in November, to view their SS2013 line this week, and treated atteendees in a royal fashion. An open bar featuring DC Brau Brewing Company, wine and champagne and light refreshments was available, as well as gift bags, which included GANT By Michael Bastian and Gant Rugger sunglasses and a signature GANT fragrance. A storewide discount of 30% was also offered.
GANT invited five of the city’s most sartorially savvy gentlemen, the GANT guys, to introduce the collection to their guests.
Thrillist.com DC Editor Leo Schmid, 94.7 Radio Host Tommy McFly, Bibiana Executive Chef Nick Stefanelli, SUSTG International Trade Group Lucien Zeigler and DC United Midfielder Chris Pontius were outfitted head-to-toe in GANT gear, curated to their personal style and they mingled with the more than 100 fashionable Washingtonians who came out to the store. The line was described as taking “Americano cool overseas with crisp, clean lines and rich patterns – the expat attire du jour in any part of the world.
”
The after-party continued with an intimate dinner at Cafe Milano for a select few guests.
