Pony up for a good cause this summer at the first annual Argentina Heritage Polo Tournament, to take place July 14 at Summerhill Polo Fields in Poolesville, Md. The tournament will benefit the largest pediatric hospital in Latin America, Garrahan Hospital, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
All proceeds raised at the tournament will go to continuing the outstanding work of Garrahan, whose doctors have treated over 18 million children in the past 31 years, completely free of charge.
The event is chaired by Ambassador Fernando Oris de Roa of Argentina and Academy Award-winning actor and polo enthusiast, Robert Duvall.
The Embassy of Argentina has partnered with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and the Many Hats Institute to bring this fundraiser to fruition. This event is sure to attract philanthropists and polo-lovers alike, sporting opportunities to win polo lessons and season tickets to Summerhill while benefiting the work of Garrahan Hospital.
