Embrace the power of art as a catalyst for change with Studio Gallery’s show “Arts & Activism,” which runs through Aug. 22.The show allows artists to present works on the social issue that best speaks to them and their art, such as Black Lives Matter, climate change and LGBTQIA+ rights, women’s and immigration rights. The Studio Gallery hopes this collection will inspire visitors to continue fighting for equality and social justice as they support local artists and the arts community. Some artists are donating sales proceeds to charitable organizations of their choosing. Studio Gallery is open by appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and to the public for walk-ins on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
