Across the nation, Bloomingdale’s goes pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Finally, a department store using their consumer powers for good! This October, Bloomingdale’s will be kicking off National Breast Cancer Awareness month with their aptly named three-year tradition, the “Pink Campaign.” Across national—and D.C.—Bloomingdale’s, the mega-store will be selling everything from umbrellas to their exclusive C by Bloomingdale’s cashmere sweaters in the choice color. To help with shopping overload, Bloomies even conjured up “The Pink Pages,” where shoppers can flip through the latest trends and check out what goodies proceeds will be sent to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
And if participating in this longtime shop-a-thon seems a bit passé, there will be an exclusive “Ready, Set, Pink!” campaign on October 20 at the flagship on 59th st. and 3rd ave. in New York. Imagine pink décor, pink products, and even a pink DJ (we don’t know about that, but it would be cool…). Pink’d out already? Try to retain your cool, because proceeds from both events go to searching for a cure.
