Have you ever wanted to visit countries like Brazil, Singapore and Morocco in one trip? What about one afternoon? Washington residents will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in world cultures this Thursday at Winternational. The embassy showcase, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

This year’s will feature 56 unique embassies represented by diplomats ranging from Afghanistan to Vietnam, set up in a global marketplace-like setting. Diplomats will share crafts, food, art and tourism and travel exhibits from their respective countries with visitors in the Center’s Atrium and Atrium Hall.

Originally built to foster diplomacy and build connections, the Reagan Building is an ideal fit as Winternational’s venue. With an open format throughout and numerous countries to experience, visitors can essentially ‘travel the world’ within the afternoon.
