Reading Is Fundamental’s 2010 Gift of Reading Gala will take place on Wednesday, May 26 at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.
C. Each year, this memorable event brings together prominent elected officials as well as corporate and community leaders who share RIF’s vision of a literate America. The event will feature a silent auction, cocktail reception, dinner and a program celebrating RIF’s impact across the U.S.
The master of ceremonies for the gala is Michel Martin, award-winning journalist and host of “Tell Me More” on National Public Radio.
