Network Ethiopia will have its annual gala on May 20, 2010 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM; a VIP reception will take place from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Ethiopia to the United States Wondimu Asaminew is hosting the evening, which will be held in the Great Hall of the Embassy of Ethiopia. The Embassy is at 3506 International Drive, Washington DC.
The gala will feature multimedia presentations on the Network’s work in Addis Ababa including several kiosks that will allow attendees and donors to experience the work being done by the organization. There will be a short program addressing the lack of health care for low income women and children in Ethiopia and the Network’s strategic plan to address these needs.
Ethiopian music will be provided by renowned Ethiopian-American musicians . Ethiopian food will be served.
