Skincare specialist Alchimie Forever and founder Ada Polla celebrate two years in Georgetown.

Alchimie Forever recently hosted a celebration of their two-year anniversary in their D.C. showroom located on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. The event included an exhibit of artwork from students of the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Attendees included Miss DC Ashley Boalch, Kassie Remple CEO of Simply Soles, Laura Chavez of Let’s Talk Live, writer Stephanie Greene, and Alchimie Forever CEO Ada Polla.
In addition to housing the company’s North American corporate office, the showroom serves as a visual representation of the brand. There is a retail area for skincare and an aesthetician’s room where Alchimie Forever signature facials are demonstrated. The design was guided by master architect Andreas Angelidakis of Greece, and locally the design and architecture effort was led by Jim Cronenberg of Grupo7, a DC-based firm. The space is designed as an ephemeral scientific white box colored by reflections and refractions of light and colored furnishings. The setting is both conceptual and sensual.
Created in Switzerland by two medical doctors, Alchimie Forever skincare products blend science and nature, and utilize nature’s most powerful extracts to create daily skin care products that will preserve skin’s youthfulness. The products combine some of the most powerful natural antioxidants. Extracted from herbs (rosemary, basil), plants (green tea, watercress, turmeric), and fruits and vegetables (blueberries, grape seeds, tomatoes), these antioxidants have complementary effects that strengthen, protect, and promote healthier, more youthful-looking skin.
