Bobby Flay to stop by Sixth & I to chat about his latest cookbook in September.
By Nevin Martell
Flip to the Food Network and chances are you’ll find Bobby Flay offering up advice on everything from barbecues to brunches. Now you can put down your remote, get off your couch and see the celebrity chef in person. He’ll be stopping by Sixth & I on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss his latest book, Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain Cookbook, and sign copies.
The ginger-topped toque’s latest cookbook focuses on classic continental cuisine and all-American ingredients like Alaskan king salmon, Maine blueberries and southwestern chilies. More than 110 recipes cover everything from soups and salads to family-style entrees, brunch dishes and decadent desserts. Don’t expect to get any great ideas for Passover dinner though – the cookbook doesn’t keep kosher.
Tickets are $40 and include a copy of Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain Cookbook. All seating is general admission and doors opens at 6:30 p.m. Buy tickets online now.
