Arlington says hola to Lime Fresh Mexican Grill.
By Nevin Martell
Warm spring days and Cinco de Mayo may seem like a long way off right now, but you can still get in the fiesta spirit. This January, South of the border flavors are coming to South of the river when Lime Fresh Mexican Grill throws open its doors in Arlington.
Four kinds of guacamole vie for your taste bud’s attention to start off your meal, including jalapeno-spiked Hombre Guac and Gringo Guac blended with creamy cilantro.
Other appetizers include Mexican mainstays like nachos, queso dip with fresh made tortilla chips and flautas, while a broad selection of quesadillas, tacos, fajitas and burritos anchor the menu.
Whether your new year’s resolution diet calls for your meals to be low fat or low carb, the restaurant can accommodate both preferences.
There are also extensive vegetarian options, since almost every dish can be created as meat-free fare.
No matter what you order, you must step over to the homemade salsa bar to slather on any of the 50 – yes, 50 – kinds of hot sauce. Bringing your own sombrero and referring to everyone at the table as your amigos is optional.
