Top toque RJ Cooper and master mixologist Derek Brown’s Rogue 24 promises to not be merely a restaurant, but a gastronomic journey.

James Beard Award winner RJ Cooper is opening his first restaurant this spring, the ambitious and artistic Rogue 24. Diners sit around an open kitchen – think of it as epicurean theater in the round – and are served 24 courses paired with their choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.

Cooper’s culinary wizardry will be complemented by the mixology of the Columbia Room’s Derek Brown and the desserts of well-known pastry chef Chris Ford.

The restaurant’s 24-course tasting menu will be 0 with non-alcoholic beverage pairing and 0 with alcoholic beverage pairing.

The 16-course tasting menu will be 0 with non-alcoholic beverage pairing and 0 with alcoholic beverage pairing.

 If you don’t want to fully commit, there will be a 14-seat salon, which won’t require reservations and will offer a small a la carte menu and artisanal cocktails.  Rogue 24 will be open Tuesday through Saturday nights and will be located in Blagden Alley at the rear entrance of 922 N St. NW.
